A fabulous painting by the acclaimed artist Michele Federico b. 1884 - d. 1966.
Titled "Picola Marina, Capri - Michele Federico" on a plaque attached to the frame. The painting shows a bay enclosed by rocky mountains in the background and a small stone house in the foreground. A woman looks over the edge to the sea below. Several sailboats are in the water in the distance on a bright sunny day. The water changes from a deep, deep blue into a beautiful shade of green closer to the land.

The colours are extremely bright and bold as the painting is displayed behind glass and has never been exposed to the dust and elements (there is some reflection of lights off the glass in photos).

The frame has a lovely original gold finish and is beautifuly decorative and high quality
