The remarkable thing about this Nakara hinged box by the C.F. Monroe Company
is the large 8 inch diameter and the fact that it has what appears
to be it's original interior liner in a shiny ivory fabric in the lid and the bottom.
The lid is decorated with cherubs and several pink flowers.
The base is also decorated with pink flowers with top and bottom
having raised white stippled decoration.

C.F. Monroe produced it's decorative opal ware from 1890 -1910.

Measures : 8 inches in diameter x 3 1/5 inches tall.
