Beautifully Handpainted Large Royal Worcester Rose bowl

with hand painted roses and leaves in rich deep colours.

Signed and painted by R. Austin a Worcester painter

well known for his flower painting and specializing in Flowers and fruits.

The bowl has 6 bulbous sides with an emossed word

on each that reads "Gather Ye Roses While Ye May"

 

2 gilded floral buds decorate the bowl under each word.

 

Marked on bottom with Royal Worcester Mark and 21 dots -

representing the year 1912.

Printed Number 2369 (shape number) and painted mark 5.74

 

Measures 11 inches at its widest x 7 inches high
